To all our final year students, it probably feels like you have lots of time left for your job hunt. While this may be true for some, for those wanting to land a job at Australia’s biggest companies (think the big 4 accounting firms, government departments and multi-brand conglomerates like Colgate and Nestle), you need to start preparing for the graduate recruitment process now.
Few organisations in Australia can match the size and variety of professional opportunities that Woolworths offers. As one of the country’s largest and most complex organisations (with 200,000 employees and market capitalisation of $50 billion), they can provide amazing development experiences for you – both as a graduate and throughout your career.
Woolworths are currently recruiting across multiple disciplines for their 2017 graduate programs (and they’ll pay relocation costs for successful applicants willing to relocate interstate).

In today’s fiercely competitive job market, it’s more important than ever to ensure your application is hitting all the right notes with employers.
Today, the Careers service were lucky enough to hear exactly what employers are after from one of Queensland Government’s graduate recruiters.
Shockingly, last year’s application pool for one graduate program turned up 4,100 eligible applicants. Of those, 2,000 were invited to apply for available positions. 1,800 responded to the call and were considered for a grand total of 10 available positions.
