Looking for some advice to kick start your job search in 2020? Attend the following sessions, delivered by our professional Career Consultants to gain practical and inspiring tips that you can utilise to begin your career planning and job search. This series is delivered at Nathan campus. Keep logging into Careerboard to find sessions delivered at other campuses, coming later in Trimester 1 2020! Graduates still on the hunt for a job are also encouraged to attend.

T’is the Season to be Job Hunting
If you are yet to break into the workforce and get your first part-time or casual job, statistics support Christmas time as being your best bet to find one! Job openings (particularly in the retail sector) increase dramatically during this time. In fact, 60% of Christmas Casual jobs advertised in Australia are for retail work. Other common opportunities include hospitality work, product demonstrating for companies, reception duties and manual labour.
