DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE ABOUT TO GRADUATE TO THINK OF US. (However, if you’re in your final year and suddenly realising you will need to look for work soon, we forgive you and we can help!)
Make the Griffith Careers and Employment Service a priority in your university experience! We can assist you with any advice you may need to do well in your job search. We can help you find part-time, casual and full-time employment.
Keep up to date with jobs that are posted on CareerHub. Unlike other job search websites, the Careers and Employment Team monitor all jobs posted to the site to ensure that they meet Fair Work Australia guidelines. Not to mention, all the employers who post jobs on CareerHub have specifically sought out Griffith students to work for them. There are jobs on CareerHub suited to all study disciplines and year level (part-time, full-time and casual jobs available).
Watch this video about CareerHub to get a demo of how to access the site and it’s many career planning and searching functions.
Are you a final year student this year or next? Signing up for Student Employment can present many opportunities to really make a start at your career. Student Employment consultants go out and meet with employers to find jobs relevant to Griffith students and graduates. Their primary focus is assisting students nearing the end of their studies, who can commence full time work. However, they occasionally also seek casuals for jobs on campus. It is a good idea to introduce yourself to our consultants after applying for a role, as building rapport will help the consultants get a better understanding of who you are, and your skill set. Our consultants are located at Nathan or Gold Coast campus. Sign up for Student Employment and upload your resume today!
If you need advice on your resume, you can submit your current draft online to our Career Consultants for feedback. If you need advice on your interview skills, degree choice or your overall career direction, book a free appointment with one of our Career Development Officers. You must be a current Griffith student or recent graduate to book an appointment with a Career Development Consultant.
Book an appointment or upload your resume online here.
