Attention Graduating students! If you are due to Graduate at the end of 2019, now is a great time to remember that we exist! For many, graduation marks a scary time where one must suddenly must transition from the comforts of student life to an anxiety and caffeine fuelled job search. Perhaps your very survival depends on it. If you have never engaged with our services before this time, don’t worry, we won’t hold it against you. Instead, we are here to remind you of how we can assist you during this time.

#1 Unitemps
If you’ll be on the hunt for work after your graduation ceremony, Unitemps would love to hear from you. Register for Unitemps, Griffith’s own recruitment agency and view and apply for available jobs through the Unitemps website. Unitemps consultants are always on the lookout for good candidates to put forward to their employer clients. You will need a completed resume, two referees and (preferably) some paid or unpaid work experience. Please feel free to book in to attend Unitemps Information Sessions at Nathan (Unitemps Office, N53: Tuesdays, 10 am and Wednesdays, 12 pm) and Gold Coast (Various locations: Mondays and Thursdays, 2 pm).
#2 Careers Fair 2020
If you are still looking for work in March 2020, Griffith University will be hosting a 2020 Careers Fair. We are hosting 40 premium employers on campus to network with our students and graduates. It is a fantastic opportunity to get up and close with some of Australia’s top Graduate employers. If you are interested in attending, register now to receive updates and communications about the Fair.
#3 Careerboard
As a Griffith Graduate, you will have unlimited access to Careerboard. Careerboard is our internal jobs board exclusively for Griffith students. You will find many graduate opportunities on the website, especially during March, during Australia’s graduate recruitment season. We would highly recommend keeping up with opportunities posted on the Careerboard website and also regularly checking our events page: this is where we advertise internal employer events on campus and external networking events for students and graduates.
#4 Book in with a Career Consultant Before you Graduate!
The Careers and Employment Service is offering increased one on one support services to current students, so be sure to make an appointment before you graduate! During your appointment, you can explore your graduate employment options, undertake a mock interview and review your job search strategy. Log into Careerboard and book a face to face, telephone or zoom appointment today.
